Director of Pharma Development
The Director of Pharma Development is a critical player in generating drug donations and financial resources to achieve Rx Outreach’s goals. In this role, you will drive the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of pharma manufacturers capable of supporting Rx Outreach as major contributors and /or recurring drug donations. In partnership with the Senior team, you will facilitate a team environment that supports all leadership giving. Ideal candidates are excited by challenges and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and excel, at innovative, strategic thinking.
- Responsibilities
- Manage key relationships (pharma drug donors and pharma foundations)
- Identify and secure new pharma relationships for donations
- Elevate Rx Outreach’s standing amongst Pharma manufacturers
- Secure drug donations from Pharma manufacturers via relationship building, manufacturer visits, and conference attendance
- Maintain relationships and manage/communicate impact of drug shortages and price changes
- Monitor market price changes, GPO, and shortages, communicate potential impacts to senior team and develop strategies for approval to reposition Rx Outreach and mitigate adverse impacts
- Perform market price analysis for the entire Rx Outreach formulary
- Identify new products for addition and propose pricing
- Manage pharma donor contracts, including required reporting
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 5 years experience in Pharma industry
- Minimum 2 years leadership experience preferred
- Superior communication skills (written and oral), including public speaking experience
- Ability to interpret computer-generated reports and analyze data to inform your strategy
- Demonstrated excellence in project management and managing competing priorities
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced work environment
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite required
