Getting started is simple. First, check if your medication is available on our Find Your Medication page. Then ask your doctor to send your prescription to Rx Outreach. You can place your order by phone or through your online patient portal, and we will ship the medication directly to your home. Visit our New Patient page to learn more.
No. Rx Outreach does not require an application or enrollment process. Anyone with a valid prescription from a licensed healthcare provider can use our pharmacy.
You can search our full medication list on the Find Your Medication page of our website. The page includes available medications, strengths, and pricing.
Yes. Rx Outreach requires a valid prescription from a healthcare provider before dispensing medication.
Yes. Rx Outreach ships medications nationwide to patients in all 50 United States, District of Columbia (DC), US Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
To contact Rx Outreach, please call 314-222-0472 or 800-769-3880. Our Patient Contact Center is open 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. CST Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. CST. Voicemails will be responded to within two business days.
You can manage your account at https://portal.rxoutreach.org/login. If you cannot access your account, be sure to use the same email address as when you opened your account. You can reset the password from that page.
You can sign up for texting when you first enroll through the Patient Portal or by calling and letting our staff know you’d like to enable that feature on your account. Once you have created an account in the patient portal, you will need to call us to add the texting feature.
Section 2: Cost & Eligibility
Anyone with a valid prescription from a licensed healthcare provider can use Rx Outreach. Our patients include people with insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and those without insurance who are looking for more affordable medication options. No. Rx Outreach does not require proof of income or financial eligibility to use our pharmacy.
Rx Outreach operates outside of traditional insurance billing; We do not run insurance. Many patients choose to purchase their medications directly from us because our prices can sometimes be lower than their insurance copays.
Yes. Many people with insurance still choose Rx Outreach if our price is lower than their copay or deductible.
Medication prices vary depending on the medication and supply. You can view current pricing on the Find Your Medication page of our website. The price listed is all-inclusive and there are no hidden fees.
No. Rx Outreach does not charge membership fees or subscription fees.
Most medications from Rx Outreach are offered at low, transparent prices rather than being completely free. However, in some cases certain medications may be available at no cost through special programs supported by partners or manufacturers. Availability varies, so we encourage patients to check our medication list or contact our team to learn more about current options.

No, there is not a discount card needed to utilize Rx Outreach, and you will not receive or need to maintain a card.
Section 3: Prescriptions & Doctors
Your doctor can send prescriptions to Rx Outreach electronically through their e-prescribing system, or through fax (1-800-875-6591), mail, or calling our team.
When submitting the prescription electronically, prescribers may need to select the option for "mail order" pharmacies and then search for Rx Outreach by name, address, phone number, Surescripts ID #: 2635855, or NPI #: 1235211467.
If your doctor provides a paper prescription, it can be mailed to Rx Outreach. Please note, the time to process a mailed prescription is dependent on the mail carrier.

If possible, encourage your doctor to fax, call, or submit your prescription electronically to Rx Outreach for quicker processing.
Yes. In many cases prescriptions can be transferred from another pharmacy. Our patient care team can help coordinate the transfer by calling and making your request, or you can submit the transfer request form here.
Yes. Your doctor can send prescriptions for any medications that are available through Rx Outreach.
Yes. Many healthcare providers, clinics, and community organizations refer patients to Rx Outreach as an affordable medication option. To learn more about our Community Partner Network referral program, visit our Clinics & Partners page.
Section 4: Orders & Refills
You can start an order a few different ways.
- Call our team to request your medications. We can request the prescription(s) from your prescriber, record your payment method information, and walk you through easy payment and order processing options for the future.
- Visit the patient portal and create your account.
- Submit a new prescription request form or a prescription transfer form, and the Rx Outreach team will process these requests and reach out to you for payment processing.
Refills may be requested through the patient portal, through text messaging, or by phone.
To request a refill of your medication(s) online, log into the patient portal, select the Refill button on your patient page, enter your information in all the appropriate fields, and submit. Your order will be processed within 48 hours.
If you wish to call to refill your prescription, please call customer service at 314-222-0472.
If you would like to refill by text messaging, please let us know so that this feature is active on your account. We’ll text you and ask if you’d like a refill. Reply “Yes” and the automated refill process will begin.
If you have no refills left on your prescription, please request your doctor send a new prescription.
Patients are encouraged to request refills before running out of medication. If you have questions about refill timing, our team is happy to help.
We encourage patients to enroll in text message reminders to make refills as easy as possible.
Yes. Caregivers often help family members manage prescriptions and place orders with Rx Outreach.
Rx Outreach accepts common payment methods such as debit cards, credit cards, and check.
Please call us to add a credit or debit card to your account. We will not charge your card without authorization. If you set up pay authorization, we will text you when it is time for a refill. You can reply “Yes” to this text, and we’ll process your order and send your medication to you.

Although different states have different regulations regarding controlled medications, you generally need a form of identification if you see “(CS)” following the name of your medication on our Medication List. You can upload a copy of your government-issued photo ID (for example, a driver’s license, state ID, or passport) through the Patient Portal under the settings menu. We only need the front side of your license. You may also contact our team if you need to send your ID to us another way.
Section 5: Shipping & Delivery
Shipping times may vary depending on your location and processing time. Our team works to process orders as quickly as possible once prescriptions and payment are received, and most orders are delivered within 2-5 days once the payment has been processed.
Most shipments from Rx Outreach are delivered through FedEx. If you receive deliveries to a PO Box, our team will adjust your carrier to USPS.
For select controlled medications, delivery may be faster.
Expedited shipping is available for an additional fee, though it cannot be applied to PO Box addresses or certain locations outside the continental U.S., such as Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and Alaska. Expedited delivery times and fees vary based on the package's weight and destination. Yes. Rx Outreach ships medications to patients throughout the United States, including District of Columbia (DC), US Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
You can check the status of your order through the Patient Portal. Log in to your account to view the status of all of your prescription orders. Please note that shipment status updates may take up to 24 hours to appear after your order has shipped. If you have additional questions about your order, please call us at 1-314-222-0472 or 1-800-769-3880.
Rx Outreach uses FedEx to ship the majority of the packages to our patients. For those patients with PO Boxes, USPS delivery services are used. All controlled substances are shipped with FedEx 2-day shipping and signature required.
For all FedEx packages, patients are encouraged to create a free FedEx Delivery Manager account to manage your shipment.
Yes. Tracking information will be provided to your preferred contact method once the order ships.
Most packages from Rx Outreach are shipped through FedEx, and you're able to create a free account with FedEx Delivery Manager to make adjustments to your delivery location and timing.
If you have concerns about a shipment, please contact our patient care team and we will help investigate the status of your order.
We cannot provide refunds or replacements after 30 days. We are unable to accept returned medications, even if they are unopened.
Please contact our team if your medication arrives damaged so we can help resolve the issue.
For controlled substances or high-value medications, we require patients to get a police report
Section 6: Medications & Safety
Yes. Rx Outreach is a licensed pharmacy that dispenses FDA-approved medications sourced from pharmaceutical manufacturers. We hold the highest accreditation from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.

Most medications available through Rx Outreach are generic medications, which are FDA-approved and required to meet the same safety and effectiveness standards as brand name drugs.
Yes. Pharmacists are available to answer questions about medications, safety, and proper use.
Rx Outreach offers a wide range of medications used to treat many common chronic conditions, including cardiovascular conditions, mental health conditions, gastrointestinal issues, and more.
We add medication based on community needs and our ability to secure competitive pricing. If the medication you need is a generic, we do not have the medication on our formulary, please fill out the form here. We do not carry Brand Name medications.
We recommend Needy Meds (https://www.needymeds.org) to find Patient Assistance Programs and discounted medication programs.
For safety reasons, Rx Outreach cannot accept returned medications or sharps. To properly dispose of them, we recommend using a local medication take-back program or authorized collection site. Many pharmacies, hospitals, and police stations offer free and secure drop boxes. You can also visit www.fda.gov/drugdisposal to find a nearby location and learn more about safe disposal options. Never flush medications or place sharps in household trash.

Yes. Rx Outreach has bilingual Spanish-speaking team members available to assist patients by phone. When calling our patient care team, you can press 2 to speak with a bilingual Spanish-speaking team member. We can also use a professional medical translation service to help communicate with patients who speak many other languages.
